We Specialise in Healthcare

We make great audio content, radio ads and podcasts for the healthcare sector, in fact you might say we specialise in it. We love to make healthcare content that gets people out of their worries, and into great treatment for a better life. Whether its turning the pamphlet into an informative podcast, or launching a funny talk show that makes people realise they aren't alone in their concerns, we look at the audience first, the problem and come up with a solution that will work.

Check out how we have helped our clients leverage such a valuable medium, and support healthcare education through this intimate channel.

Below the Belt,
with Dr. Love

Penis problems are not always the most easily talked about issue. Men are notoriously shy to talk about their health issues and seek help - but the reality is that many issues are easily fixable. So we created a friendly audio guide in the form of a podcast, to help men understand what's happening to them, how it is treated and how to get help. Below the Belt gives them the confidence to seek professional help and provides the tools to talk to their doctor.

The Swab
with Georgie Carroll

Ampel produces the highly acclaimed The Swab podcast, now in it's 4th Season. Nominated for best comedy podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards 2022. Comedian and Nurse Georgie Carroll digs around infectious nurses folds to see what they are packing. It's a hilarious, talk show / game show / stand-up comedy show, made for nurses, by nurses, featuring nurses.

Erika Paramore is a psychotherapist who, for the last 20+ years, has been focused on healing women from trauma. Sarah Mizuguchi is a physician, passionate about learning about ourselves through therapy. Together they are hosts of Connections In Flight; the podcast focused on helping us find our path.

The Gout Show

The Gout Show is a podcast about one of the oldest - and sorely misunderstood - health conditions. Gout is not just about painful toes or joints, and is not caused by diet. Gout is a serious medical condition impacting nearly 10 million Americans, and it can cause real medical problems if left untreated. But the good news is that it is very treatable. Steve Clisby, musician and real time Gout sufferer, hosts this series, which features stories from actual Gout patients discussing how they live a whole life with Gout, showing patients that they aren't alone.

Talking Head Pain

Talking Head Pain is a podcast that confronts head pain, head on.  Brought to you by the Global Healthy Living Foundation and hosted by migraine advocate Joe Coe, this show explores how people living with migraine, cluster headache and other types of intense pain find ways to better manage their disease.

Call On Clare

Call on Clare provides palliative care in homes and can be called on within 24 hours. Call on Clare engaged Ampel to create two specific ads for different audiences. One was designed to recruit more nurses to the company, and the other was to generate leads for Call on Clare, targeting caregivers.

The campaign has recently been extended for the third time, with additional ads being produced.
